Heirloom Stories creates a one-of-a-kind illustrated story for a child you love, starring them, read aloud in a voice they love. You answer a few questions about the child, choose how the story is narrated, and receive a private link the family keeps.

A complete keepsake: the full illustrated story, every page read aloud, living pictures with gentle movement, and a private link that never expires. It also includes room to change your mind: one fresh telling, one repaint, and one re-recording.

No. There are three ways a story can be read, and a voice recording is never required:

• Record every word yourself: the most personal option. You perform the complete story at your own pace.
• Teach it your voice: with your explicit permission, you record a brief sample and Heirloom generates the narration in a voice based on it.
• Choose the storybook narrator: our warm narrator reads the story for you. No recording at all.

Your recording is used solely to teach the narration your voice. Unless you choose to keep it (capped at 30 days), the raw recording is deleted as soon as the voice is taught. The taught voice is deleted after the story is sent, and swept automatically within 7 days regardless. Your voice is never used to train AI models and is never added to any shared voice library. No, the photo is optional. If you share one, it is looked at once so the illustrations resemble the child, then deleted from storage automatically as soon as the pictures are painted. A few written words about the child work too.

Answering the questions takes about ten minutes, and the story is ready in minutes after that. If you choose to record every word yourself, that part goes at your own pace.

Yes. You preview every page and hear every word before the story is sent to anyone. Each keepsake also includes one fresh telling, one repaint, and one re-recording if you want to change something.

Through a private, signed link sent by email. A purchased keepsake’s link never expires, and you can revoke previously sent links at any time from the story’s creator page.

One keepsake is $9.99 at the launch price (regularly $19.99). One price, no subscription. The story is theirs for good. Details are on the keepsake page.

You tell us the child’s age, and the story’s language, length, and structure adapt to it, from toddlers to older children.

Yes. We collect the minimum needed to make your story, never sell personal data, and never use recordings, photos, children’s details, or story content for advertising or to train AI models. The most sensitive things, the photo and the raw recording, are deleted first, automatically. Everything we keep, and for how long, is spelled out on our privacy & data page.
